At the Chris Keleher Team, we love where we live! That’s why it’s important to us to find meaningful ways to give back to this great community. We make it a priority to support local businesses and events, and we also offer a few events of our own… the biggest being our Fall Festival, which some attendees have dubbed “The Free GNE!”
This is an afternoon in September, where we get the opportunity to offer a sincere THANK YOU to everyone who has supported The Chris Keleher Team in any way. From friends and family who come to celebrate with us, to amazing community partners, who provide food, beverages, and prizes to help us make the best event we possibly can!
We had fun for kids of all ages, with slushies and popcorn, balloon twisters, face painters and fort building by Catalyst Residential Building Group. We had a Blundstone Boot Toss by Tin Shack | Blundstone and it sounds like the 38 foot inflatable obstacle course was once again a favourite! The Georgian Life photo booth has all the evidence to prove how much fun was being had by all and Dj CEE kept the good vibes rolling all day long.
We “big kids” enjoyed the six different types of beer on tap. Emptying 6 kegs, thanks to Collingwood Brewery, Northwinds Brewhouse & Kitchen, Clear Lake Brewing Co. & Creemore Springs. Thank you to Four Wheel Farm, Duntroon Cyderhouse, Georgian Hills Vineyards | Cider House for providing delicious cider (aka… cyder!) and wine this year. Turns out a few guests were happy to enjoy an afternoon beverage! All the drinks were made better by the delicious food provided by Men With Knives, including greens from The New Farm and catering by Rebecca Caters. From start to finish, the food was outstanding, served by our awesome team of volunteers!
Amongst some fantastic live music by Craig Smith and our very own Marcia Alderson, we held prize spotlights through the day, tossing bags of yummy Ashanti Coffee into the crowd with a Grand Finale Prize Giveaway for a kids mountain bike from Kamikaze! We had a crowd of kids, brimming with excitement in anticipation for their chance to win, it was the best! Other highlights included an amazing Tour & Prize Package from Creemore Springs, gift cards to The Huron Club, Georgian Bowl, The Collingwood Rock Shop, Play it Again Sports & The Canadian Comic Bin to name just a few.
For us as the hosts, we feel so grateful to all the partners who helped make this event even bigger and better than last year’s Fall Festival. Websites for those amazing partners can be found below.
