Taste of the Town is back!
This is one of our favourite yearly events – one that we’ve never missed since we tried it 5 years ago! It’s set at one of Collingwood’s most attractive sites, Sunset Point Park, which makes for a lovely afternoon. The food, wine and beer stations are all under tents, so the event is enjoyable, regardless of weather. Tables are set up in the sun and in the shade, should you want to sit down, but mostly we roam from station to station to socialize while we sample all the great foods and beverages. This gets to be a lively, fun event!
For those of you who know our Let’s Eat! events, Taste of the town could be considered a “Let’s Eat” sampler! So many of our favourite and highly acclaimed chefs serve their delicacies at the event. You won’t believe the variety of tastes and styles of food available all in one place, not to mention the plethora of wines, beer, and other beverages. You’ll leave feeling happy and full!
And if your personal enjoyment of the event isn’t enough, it’s even better because all the proceeds go to local and international charities. This is big!
