“Elephant Thoughts runs the coolest day camps in the universe!”  Age-appropriate activities for kids aged 5-11including incredible hands-on science experiments designed to encourage children to understand, conserve and protect their environment.  Eco- and nature-based activities will “excite kids about pursuing science, ignite their imaginations, encourage environmental stewardship and expose them to exciting aspects of science and nature in a camp-type setting.”

Theatre Collingwood March Break Drama Camp

Kids 7-11 years old with an interest in the theatre will thoroughly enjoy a week of “drama” lead by local talented actor Rochelle Reynolds.  Activities include a performance and talk by professional puppeteer Jay Wilson on Friday. No experience necessary, just give it a try, make new friends and have fun! AND learn about theatre!

Take advantage of a $10 March Break Trail Pass Special (all ages), weekdays during March Break. Get the whole family outdoors for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, a trek across the 420 ft. Suspension Bridge, night-time cross country skiing by headlamp, guided night snowshoe hikes (reservations required), a winter-themed nature Scavenger Hunt, Children’s Adventure Play Park, Warm-up cabin, roasted s’mores and more.

Strap on your snowshoes for a dramatic night-time hike.  Enjoy a professionally guided romp through 1 ½ to 2 hours worth of an enchanting winter wonderland. Trails wind through a mature forest of 100 foot tall trees, sparkling views of the countryside at the Suspension Bridge and breathtaking lookouts from the top of the Niagara Escarpment. No experience is required and the pace is moderate. Recommended for ages 8-10 and older.
