This year the February holiday brings Valentine’s Day, Family Day and Whiskeylicious together for a weekend full of events and fabulous dining. The Town of Collingwood, Blue Mountain Resort and Wasaga Beach are ready with a full schedule of family fun!
Outstanding Collingwood Whiskeylicious
Collingwood’s outstanding chefs present fantastic menu items to celebrate the return of Collingwood Whiskeylicious, February 12 to 20. This unique 9-day festival gives Collingwood’s outstanding chefs the chance to share their sweet and savoury creations, inspired by Collingwood Whisky.

50 Activities for Family Day
The Town of Collingwood has some great activities planned – more than 25 different things to do, and they’re all free!
On Family Day, Monday, February 15, come on out to Central Park for skating, snowshoeing and a family scavenger hunt. You can also try out a fat bike, ice table hockey, or some Healthy Kids Community Challenge activities. When you need to warm up, there will be free hot chocolate, a campfire and a warm-up lunch area to keep you and your family toasty.

Family Day Weekend & Valentine’s Day at Scenic Caves Nordic Centre
Celebrate family, friends + lovers with outdoor adventures for all ages, all weekend long. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or expert, explore 27 km. of groomed cross-country ski trails (classic + skate) or 10 km. of snowshoe trails.
Reserve a guided night snowshoe hike: Sat. Feb 13/16. On Valentine’s Day (Sun. Feb 14) join a guided night snowshoe hike…or night XC-ski until 8pm.
Families will love the Winter Nature Scavenger Hunt, Children’s Adventure Play Park and roasting spider dogs + s’mores over an outdoor fire pit.

Wasaga Beach Snowman Mania
Starting Friday, February 12 to Monday February 15th.
Get ready for four fun filled days of activities for the entire family to enjoy in Wasaga Beach. Enjoy entertainment, a polar plunge, ice skating, snowshoeing, tobogganing, chili cook-off, children’s activities and a whole lot more!
