The Chris Keleher Team will be participating in the Everest Challenge – an exciting new one-day event taking place at the Village at Blue Mountain in support of the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital.
Participants of all ages will come together to complete the incredible challenge of climbing 29,092 feet, the height of Mount Everest!
Teams of 2, 4, 5, 8, or 10 can register to participate in the event as follows;
- Teams of 2 will climb the mountain together 20 times
- Teams of 4 will climb the mountain 10 times
- Teams of 8 will climb the mountain 5 times
- Teams of 10 will climb the mountain 4 times
The event will begin with an opening ceremony and close-out with an exciting Blue Mountain Village festival!
There will be four separate hiking trails and everyone will be celebrating throughout the day! Every mountain ascent will offer a new vista and a new sense of achievement. There will also be Summit Awards for ¼, ½ and ¾ summits.
Registration is $50/person and each team registering for the event has an individual fundraising commitment of $400.
Collingwood General Marine Hospital Foundation, Family Teams, Community Teams and Solo Climbers will all come together to raise significant funds for Collingwood General Marine Hospital Foundation. Funds raised will go to the Hospitals highest priority needs.
