We are thrilled to announce that a dedicated team of Royal LePage professionals, including our very own Chris Keleher, will be embarking on a life-changing journey in November 2023. They are set to undertake a challenging trek through Ecuador, all in the noble pursuit of supporting the Shelter Foundation. This adventure promises to be an exhilarating five-day hike towards one of the world’s highest active volcanoes, where they will brave unpredictable mountain weather and camp in tents without cell service.
The primary objective of the Ecuador Trek is to raise vital funds for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, an organization close to our hearts. The Shelter Foundation is unwavering in its commitment to assisting courageous women and children seeking safety and a chance to rebuild their lives free from the shadows of abuse. Every participant in this remarkable journey has pledged to raise a minimum of $6,000, with these funds directly contributing to local Violence Against Women shelters and national domestic violence prevention programs.
Chris shared his excitement for this extraordinary challenge: “I am incredibly enthusiastic to participate in the Ecuador Trek to support such a remarkable cause. Previous treks in the Purcell Mountains, Sahara Desert, Iceland, and Machu Picchu have already collectively raised an impressive total of $3 million in support of women’s shelters and domestic violence prevention programs.”
