12pm-1:30pm  Local Live Lunch featuring music by Strange Potatoes and lunch by Butcher’s Bistro – Sheffer Court, 186 Hurontario Street (between Second and Third Streets)
2pm Citizenship Reaffirmation Ceremony & Gigantic Canada Day Birthday Cake – Federal Building, 44 Hurontario Street
2pm Collingwood Optimist Club Rubber Duck Race – Pretty River from Hume Street to Pretty River Parkway
6:00pm Canada Day Concert featuring the Mike McCarthy Band and the Aidan Funston Trio – The Station, 45 St. Paul Street
10pm Fireworks View from the Amphitheatre, along the Waterfront Promenade, The Station, or new this year view from Hurontario Street which will be closed during the fireworks from Second to Third Streets.

Ravenna

7:30am-11am BEAVER CRAWL  BIKE – PADDLE – RUNIn 2011, the Town of The Blue Mountains, Free Spirit Tours and Georgian Bay Youth Roots hosted the first annual Beaver Crawl Triathlon. This was a non-traditional triathlon, where participants started at  Kimberlely and biked to Heathcote, then paddled along the river to Slabtown and from there ran to the finish line in Clarksburg.The  Annual Beaver Crawl is open to everyone in the community who wishes to participate, beginning at Ravenna Hall.  Click here for information and to register.

Meaford

 9am-11am Pancake Breakfast served by the Military Family Resource Centre. Cost is by donation and all proceeds assist with services and activities for military families. Market Square
 10am-2pm  BIA Community Sidewalk Sale
10am-4pm Golden Town Cruisers Car Show along Bayfield Street
 11am  Canada Day flag raising ceremony will be held at the flagpoles next to Meaford Hall. Following ceremony – Canada Day cake.
 11am-4pm  Beautiful Joe Heritage Society will have its Tricks for Joe Booth set up. Cameras will be rolling and pets will be invited to do a “trick for Joe.” Market Square
Noon Tyler Boyle will be on site with his GROOVE dance program
 1-3pm  Meaford Library will host the Library Obstacle Race and a craft table.
1-4pm Meaford Hall Galleries – Meaford Museum and Georgian Bay Art Academy have teamed up to provide an opportunity for a Canada in art project that everybody can contribute to.
 Dusk Annual Kinsmen fireworks display set off over Georgian Bay at the harbour.

Creemore

10:30am-Noon Creemore Ladies Auxiliary Canada Day Brunch at the Legion
 12:30pm  Registration for 3-0n-3 Ball Hockey
 12:30pm-3pm  Olde Thyme Games by the Legion three-legged, egg-and-spoon and sack races, scavenger hunt, water balloon toss, lawn bowling, ring toss and bean bag toss, 1st Creemore Scouting selling popcorn.
 12:45pm  Harold Crawford Memorial Kids Bike Parade starts Mad River Park and heads to the Legion.
 1-3pm  3-on-3 ball hockey games begin, barbecue at Legion
 6pm  Firefighters’ barbecue on the west side of the arena
8pm Lady and Man of the year presentations, cake cutting, boot drive to help fund the fireworks
8:30pm  The Baker Magic Show, emilie-que leads the singing of O Canada
